This year on Saturday Dec 17th at 1PM , we will be having our
4th Annual Vegan Cookie Baking Meditation at Karen and Robert Katz’s
house in Merrick…all are welcome. The cookies are our GIS homemade gift that we
give to the monastics each holiday season and brings our love to them in a real
and tangible way.
If you are interested in a fun and festive time together of sending our love into
cookies practice then please RSVP to Karen at KZ2@aol.com if you are interested in coming so she can send you directions to her house.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO BE:
Dough Makers: make cookie dough a day or so in advance (we make
the cookies with egg replacer and non dairy spread instead of eggs and butter).
Please contact Jeanne if interested so we know how much dough we will have/need.

Cookie Makers: bring a rolling pin and or cookie sheet to help cut out cookies with
lots of fun shaped cookie cutters.
Cookie Tasters: we will need some official tasters
Vegan Pot Luck : Please bring a vegan dish or juice/drinks to share for we end the day
with a pot luck mindful lunch together.

dish and to Jeanne re cookie dough.

December 2011 Schedule
Our Sunday December 11th Sit will be at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock, 48 Shelter Rock Road, Manhasset, NY 11030, 1st floor in the Veatch Hall Ballroom.
For easy parking for all and wheelchair access at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock please make an immediate right when entering the parking lot and go to the Veatch Hall courtyard and park. Go up the steps from the Veatch Parking lot to the building entrance.
For wheelchair access after taking the right toward Veatch Hall follow signs for Administration and delivery for Veatch Hall, park in courtyard, enter the building and take the elevator to first floor to the Ballroom.
There are plenty of chairs. Please bring your own cushion.
